Forest Order

In summary, this forest order, effective from May 5, 2023, to December 31, 2023, prohibits operating motor vehicles on specific National Forest System Roads within the Front Country or San Jacinto Ranger Districts of the San Bernardino National Forest. Motor vehicles exclude vehicles on rails and wheelchairs/mobility devices designed for mobility-impaired persons. Exemptions apply to those with a specific Forest Service Permit (FS-7700-48) and federal, state, or local officers or organized rescue/fire-fighting forces on official duty.

Violations are punishable by a fine or imprisonment. This order supersedes Order No. 05-12-00-23-03, dated March 17th, 2023.
