Greet visitors, sell passes and merchandise, and patrol in the immediate
area around the Big Falls Information Station AT LEAST one weekend
a month (free camping sites about 30 minutes away are available for
volunteers wishing to stay over Saturday night instead of going home
and coming back Sunday).

Work on trail maintenance projects in and around the San Gorgonio Wilderness.

Perform overnight (Sat-Sun) backpack patrols in the wilderness.

You will receive a volunteer packet in the mail several weeks before training - NOTE: Any questions about the status of your Volunteer  Application may be directed to our Lead Volunteer Coordinator. Those applying after May 15 will be put on a waiting list until the next available training which may not be until May of the following year.
