users of GPS units. It is NOT traditional longitude/latitude
coordinates in degrees/minutes/seconds format as used with USGS
topographical maps. This coordinates listing is by no means
complete. If you have plotted
coordinates for locations in the San Gorgonio Wilderness but do not see them
here (and
would like to share them with other GPS users) please let us know.
Some of these coordinates
have been supplied by San Gorgonio Wilderness visitors. The San Gorgonio
Wilderness Association has not verified these entries and is not
responsible for their accuracy nor the batteries in your GPS, nor can we
provide conversion data for your particular unit.
A GPS is not a safe replacement for a map and compass and the full knowledge of how
to correctly use them. Use this data at your own risk.
