Help SGWA While You Search the Web!
Simple, easy, free, and it feels good!!
We all have causes we care about. What we don't all have is
the time or money to support these efforts as much as we'd like. So, what if
we could raise money for our favorite charity by doing something we do every
day — searching the Internet?
That’s the question brother/sister Ken Ramberg (the former
founder of JOBTRAK, now a division of Monster.com) and JJ Ramberg (an MSNBC
anchor and the former Director of Marketing at Cooking.com) asked themselves
a few years ago. They had lost their mom to cancer and wanted to find an
easy way for people to support their favorite causes. After realizing what a
fraction of the $6 billion generated annually by search engine advertisers
could do if it were directed towards organizations trying to |make the world
a better place, they launched GoodSearch in 2005.
GoodSearch
is a search engine which donates 50 percent of its revenue to the
charities designated by its users. It's a simple and compelling
concept. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search
engine. Because it’s powered by Yahoo!, you get proven search
results. The money GoodSearch donates to SGWA comes from its advertisers
— the users, you, and SGWA don’t spend a dime!
We invite you to set GoodSearch as your web-browser of
choice today, and designate the San Gorgonio Wilderness Association as
the beneficiary. If each of our members, volunteers, and friends
performed just one daily search using GoodSearch, SGWA would receive
$2000 annually!

Share the good feelings. Help us spread the word by telling
your family, friends, and coworkers to use GoodSearch too! As long as we are
searching the internet anyway, why not get some good feelings out of it by
helping a good cause like the San Gorgonio Wilderness Association.
